Written by: [SP] Sven Z-Slayer, On Mon Apr 28, 2008 9:31 pm All the new Models have been released to the server. It took a little more work then I expected to meet my scheduled date of release and it seems in my haste there was a mistake.
There is a slight issue with two of the new models I've released. Some of you might have noticed a "bone merge" console error for the assault class. I've corrected this problem but if you want the updated files you have to delete the old ones first.
To do this you'll need to browse to your steam install directory. It will look something like this.
C:\Program Files Valve\SteamApps\*userid*\counter-strike source\cstrike\models\spazu
Once in this directory delete the "cake" and "assault" folders. Then all you have to do is join the server to get the new model folders. 0 Replies.

THE HEAVY ASSAULT
I tried all the normal markings but none of them looked right so it only has the SPAZU logo on the helmet. It took a while to do the bone structure but it works great in game. I still might play around with a few things though before I release it. The original skin is that of a duty exoskeleton from S.T.A.L.K.E.R. It has been completely overhauled, mostly darkening and a lot of color stripping. This model is very fitting for those who have ever played S.T.A.L.K.E.R. and as a heavy assault. 24 Replies.

I am currently working on a Heavy Assault skin that I think you guys will just love. I'm not going to reveal any of the details yet but I want to know what you think it is going to be. The base model anyway. What is it and where did I get it.
After I have completed the Heavy Assault model I will move onto a dead man switch model for Demolitions and possible a CQC model. 2 Replies.

Written by: [SP] Sven Z-Slayer, On Sun Mar 02, 2008 4:02 pm Now that I have a new computer I am able to not only PLAY on the server again but I can now continue my work on it.
I have already made general improvements to the class system including the ability to view your class stats as well as seeing how many times you have to use it to permanently unlock it
Also if anybody cares the package system has gotten an overhaul. The server will now remember your package if you choose it to. Once you set up your package in settings there is a new option "8: Save As..." This will let you save your package as default or for the current map. 7 Replies.

Written by: [SP] Sven Z-Slayer, On Wed Jul 25, 2007 3:42 pm So for those of you who care. The reason I have not been on or keeping up with advancments to the server is because my main computer has been having trouble starting/running... Well today took the cake
I tried to start my computer and I look down at it and think to myself"I do not have any orange lights in my computer" Much to my suprise my computer was on fire!!!! I quickly removed my side pannel (glad I do not screw it down) and the fire goes out before I have a chance to identify its location (or get a picture, thanks kith for caring so much about my PC)
I still cannot find any fire damage in my PC but and it still doesn't run properly, no suprise there of course. 15 Replies.

| New Main Server IP Address Change |

The SPAZU Server is now isolated from the rest of my network and hopefully this will be the end of past connection problems, and lack of connection. Somebody check the steam list to see if the server shows up.

Once a player gets a kill they will be tracked and their score recorded at the end of the round. You are free and welcome to practice, up until the contest date is decided. I will probably have a contest mod at that time with better tracking. I am thinking about making it automated so I don't even need to be present at the time of the test.

Rules:
-The map will be spazu_tr_hall. This map was made by cakeman, especially for this contest. There's a download link below, so you can start practicing.
-The player will use an AWP, and shoot solo. Only the best score out of 3 rounds will be counted. These rules may change if there are additional events in the contest. If that happens, the rules for those events will be stated then.
-The player will be evaluated in the target range part of the map, where there are 3 shooting booths marked 0, 1 and 2. He or she will stand in the booth of your choice, once ready press the activator button and proceed to fire at the live zombie targets that fall from the ceiling in the hall. AWPs are available on the gun racks as you cannot purchase them
-There are 20 zombies to kill, each in their own cell in the ceiling. There are a total of 24 cells. 5 seconds after the button is pressed, two cells will open. 5 seconds after that, two more cells will open. This will continue until all 24 cells are open. The zombies are pushed towards the player using a func_push. This will drop the zombies into the 3 holes and out of the player's line of sight. That means you'll only have a few seconds to kill each zombie. 5 seconds after the the last zombies have dropped, the door will close. 5 seconds after that, any unkilled zombies will be destroyed. You may attempt to shoot through the door to get a lucky shot in the 5 seconds between these events.

I hmm'd and haw'd a bit over whether I would make everyone wait until Sven got back home for a fix, but after looking up the error code I decided I would take a back up of the forums db and push the 'Repair' button. You will now be able to get any relevant news/ announcements right from the home page.
I included buttons for viewing both the original post and most recent post as well as an instant response button.
Any input is always appreciated. Cakeman already ran a few ideas past me.
My next project is to get JR back up and running on its feet again

I messed around with the spawn points in kilo. There were 4 spawn points. I removed 1 CT point, and Swapped the remaining CT spawn with one of the T spawns. So now the CTs are entering the Base instead of spawning inside of it. Makes more sence this way. Moving in to clean up a zombie infestation and securing the base instead of being attacked by zombies.
