Rule 1: Take the fight to the zombies.

If you wait for them to come to you, you will always get swamped by them. Many have tried this strategy and I have never seen it work

Rule 2: Containment

Try to keep the zombies contained in one spot. If they are surrounded they can’t surround you and you are less likely to be struck from unexpectedly from behind

Rule 3: Spread out

I know it may sound like a good idea to stick together as one team but this causes problems. If you are not tripping over each other you are blocking somebody else’s fire.

Rule 4: Stay in line

If somebody is holding position they are probably doing so for a reason. Your accuracy increases if you are standing still so they may be waiting for the zombies to come into his zone of fire. Running past them might block their line of site or as I have seen many time get you killed.

Rule 5: Don’t knife around

Knifing a zombie is very, very hard to actually do. If you are running at the zombie with a knife while your team is shooting at it you will probably get shot yourself.

Rule 6: Line of sight

If a zombie gets past you and runs at another team member don’t run blindly after the zombie shooting. Try to get more beside the zombie to fire so you are out of the way of your team member’s line of fire. All it takes is one team wound violation to knock out his aim and have the zombie end his life
